Welcome to the Pegasus Airpark home page.
Arizona's Valley of the Sun newest Aviation Community.
PEGASUS AIRPARK - A GATED RESIDENTIAL AVIATION COMMUNITY, opened with the paving of its new 5,000' X 60' runway on June
19, 2001. All runway and taxiway surfaces are constructed to meet or exceed a FAA B-II designation for aircraft up to 12,500 pounds.
The development is built around a central east west runway with taxiways on each side. Home sites range from 1.0 to 1.3 acres and
the entire development was carefully planned to have taxiways separated from the roads so there is no mixing of road and aircraft
traffic. Located near the beautiful San Tan Mountains, a quiet, scenic, country location away from the congested inner city, yet only 12
miles from the Superstition Freeway providing access to downtown Phoenix. Access to the San Tan Mountains Regional Park is
provided by Hiking / Equestrian trails established by the Town of Queen Creek.
A FBO area provides condominium hangars, tie downs, and fuel service. The 100 LL fuel island became operational in December
2007. Residents will have a place for their guests to tie down while visiting and the fuel service is available 24 hours a day.
Pegasus Airpark also has available, one-acre home sites without taxiway access that combines the freedom and enjoyment of airpark
living with the option of horse ownership and privileges. These lots have equestrian privileges, adjacent horse trail easement and
flood irrigation. Residents of these lots can enjoy a combination lifestyle, having a horse stable and still base their aircraft in their own
hangar at the FBO.
